Day Hike in Toubkal National Park

Your day starts at 8 am, when we collect you from your hotel in central Marrakech. Travelling by minibus or 4×4, we head towards the High Atlas Mountains and the start of your guided walk.

During the trek, you’ll walk for approximately 5 to 6 hours, accompanied by a local mountain guide. The route passes the village of Tinerhourhine before continuing towards Aguersioual, giving you a chance to see traditional Berber villages and everyday life in the mountains.

Along the way, we follow river courses, cross small rivulets and seguias, the traditional irrigation channels that have carried water to mountain farms for generations. The trail also takes us past agricultural terraces and through peaceful walnut groves.

We stop for a picnic lunch on the route, surrounded by the natural scenery of the High Atlas.

One of the highlights of the day is the opportunity to see Mount Toubkal, the highest mountain in North Africa, rising to 4,167 metres. The excursion also includes a visit to an Argan oil cooperative, where you can learn more about this important Moroccan product and how it is traditionally produced.
